Tami is the Global Campaign Director of Light Up MBC; Light Up MBC 2025 takes place Monday October 13th and will be live streamed. Maryann is a Light Up MBC Ambassador and will be talking at her own event that evening in Winter Garden, FL. Maryann is Ed’s sister.

Hour 1 – Ed talks with Luke Russert, Host and Creative Director of “MSNBC Live ’25: This is Who We Are,” about the upcoming event Saturday, October 11th at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. Plus, Actor Michael Chiklis discusses his latest role in the film “The Senior,” a true story about a 59-year-old man who returns to play college football one final time. and  author J.L. Spears joins the show to talk about his new technothriller “Daemon Protocol”, which deals with AI that becomes overreaching while tightening its grip on the world. Also, Ed and Caryn talk about procrastination. Ed preps for guests days in advance while Caryn needs to search the trash can for old K-Cups because she puts off buying coffee.
Hour 2 – Ed talks with writer, producer, author, actress and businesswoman Brande Roderick about the innovative Ring My Belle service as well as her new film “Wineville” and with actress Larissa Dali about her new film “Deadly Escape”. Plus, Ed and Caryn talk about things of which they each have way too many. Caryn has way too many shoes and Ed buys too many body sprays, yet always smells like an Amber Sunset. And Caryn then becomes a speech therapist and teaches Ed how to properly pronounce the word cashew.

Hour 2 – Ed and Caryn talk about the weird things each of them do when alone. It turns out Ed ended up going further down Weird Street than Caryn, Plus they discuss things we were never taught in school, such as basic financial literacy, but maybe we should have been. We also learn that Ed made and sewed a pillow shaped like a skateboard in seventh grade. And Ed talks with author P Moss about his new historical novel: “Screwing Sinatra" and  author Cindy Fazzi about her two new books in her Domingo the Bounty Hunter series: “Danger No Problem” and “Sunday or the Highway.”

Hour 2 – Ed talks with director Joe Wright about the new eight-part MUBI series: “Mussolini: Son of the Century"; actor and director Tony Goldwyn of NBC’s “Law and Order” about his new podcast “Far from the Tree,” co-hosted by his daughter Anna; and documentary filmmaker Joe Hill about his new film: “Match in a Haystack,” which follows a dance troupe trying to survive and express their art in Ukraine. Plus Ed and Caryn reveal their favorite cartoon characters and Caryn realizes Ed knows way too much about “The Flintstones.”
